All Nipper Registration is to be completed online
First day of nipper – 11th October 2026

Step 1: Register Online

Please make sure your online registration is completed before coming along to our pool evaluation day.

SLSA has initiated “Family Groups” to allow for bulk management of data and for renewing the membership of all members of a “Family Group” in one transaction.

The “Primary” member (Mum/Dad/Carer) first creates a Hub account then applies to create a family group. Once the group has been approved by the club the primary member can join family members to it.

All registrations are done through your Hub account 👉 SLS Hub

Remember, at least one parent or guardian needs to join as a Nipper Parent to complete the registration.

In person registration: If you need help with your online registration, come to the surfclub

Step 2: Pool Evaluation

Please make sure your online registration is completed before coming along to our Pool Evaluation Day.

Every Nipper — whether new or returning — needs to complete a pool evaluation each year. This helps us make sure they have the right water safety and swimming skills for their age group. It’s a simple, annual check that keeps everyone safe and helps us understand the level of supervision needed.

When & Where: Coffs Aquatic Centre

If you have more than one child, please come during the time slot for your eldest Nipper.

What to Bring

  • Swimmers
  • Goggles

Parent photo ID (all registered parents must bring this)

Should you not be able to attend our pool evaluation day please get the following form signed off by a qualified assessor at any of our local pools. Also note that this can be filled out during any squad or organised swim session that children may already be attending. Return via email to jacregistrarsawtellslsc@gmail.com.

Step 3: Uniform Collection

Uniforms can be collected from our uniform stand on Pool Evaluation Day.

Under 6 Nippers will receive a Newcastle Permanent pink rashie and a Black & Gold
age-group cap.

All other new and returning members will receive a Newcastle Permanent pink rashie.
If you need a coloured cap, they can be purchased for $10. Please note: You will not be able to collect your uniform if you are not fully
registered.

We’ll also have a great range of club gear available, from swimmers to sun jackets,
which you can buy on the day.

Our uniform shop will be open on Sunday mornings, during Nipper season, giving
families another chance to purchase items or check sizing later in the season.
