Please make sure your online registration is completed before coming along to our pool evaluation day.

All registrations are done through your Hub account.

  • New to our club? Click here to get started.
  • Already a member? Click here to log in.

Remember, at least one parent or guardian needs to join as a Nipper Parent to complete the registration.

Step 2: Pool Evaluation

Please make sure your online registration is completed before coming along to our Pool Evaluation Day.

Every Nipper — whether new or returning — needs to complete a pool evaluation each year. This helps us make sure they have the right water safety and swimming skills for their age group. It’s a simple, annual check that keeps everyone safe and helps us understand the level of supervision needed.

When & Where: Coffs Aquatic Centre – September 23rd, 2026

Under 6 & 7: 10:00am – 12:00pm

Under 8 & 9: 12:00pm – 1:00pm

Under 10 and above: 1:00pm – 3:00pm

If you have more than one child, please come during the time slot for your eldest Nipper.

What to Bring

Swimmers

Goggles

Parent photo ID (all registered parents must bring this)

Should you not be able to attend our pool evaluation day please get the following form signed off by a qualified assessor at any of our local pools. Also note that this can be filled out during any squad or organised swim session that children may already be attending. Return via email to jacregistrarsawtellslsc@gmail.com.

Step 3: Uniform Collection

Uniforms can be collected from our uniform stand on Pool Evaluation Day.

All new Under 6 Nippers will receive a pink rashie and a coloured age-group cap.

All other new and returning members will receive a pink rashie.

If you need a coloured cap, they can be purchased for $10.

We’ll also have a great range of gear available — from swimmers to towels — which you can buy on the day or through our online store.

Our uniform shop will also be open on Sunday mornings, giving families another chance to purchase items or check sizing later in the season.

Step 4: Photo ID

All registered parents must show a valid photo ID to complete their registration. This can be brought to our pool evaluation day or along to the first day of Nippers.

What Age Group Will My Nipper Be?
Club Calendar

Nippers is a fun, activity-based program that teaches kids valuable surf skills, knowledge and awareness in a safe beach environment. On the way, kids make new friends, build their confidence and have the opportunity to compete in fantastic beach and surf events.   A Surf Rescue Certificate is awarded to all Nippers who successfully complete the program (at U14 level), allowing them to participate in Surf Life Saving patrols.  With further training Nippers can also become qualified surf lifesavers.
