Valuable Beach Experience for CALD First-timers

Sawtell SLSC’s Sheena McTackett and Leanne Stuart recently worked with a group of CALD (Culturally and Linguistically Diverse) women and talked to them about beach safety & water awareness.  It was a powerful & rewarding experience for the women; being in the ocean for the first time,  diving under waves, swimming out of their depth and the taste of salty water.  Thank you Emma Aspden from ‘3E’s to Freedom’ for giving us the opportunity to work with such beautiful and resilient women.
